  Easton Corbin was born in Gainesville, Florida and grew up on a cattle farm outside the nearby town of Trenton. His love of music was born at a young age by his father and grandfather who were always singing. “I always remember music being a part of my earliest memories,” Easton says.  When I was growing up, there always seemed to be a radio or record player playing in the house.”  Easton’s earliest musical influences originated from hearing Merle Haggard, George Jones and Keith Whitley on the radio and watching TV shows like The Grand Ole Opry. At the age of 15, Easton started taking guitar lessons from local hero, Pee Wee Melton, a former Nashville session player. Melton’s guitar lessons included country music history lessons which fostered Easton's respect for the legends of  county music.It wasn't long before Easton was singing and playing in local bands and opening for major acts coming through the area. He stayed close to home and went to college at the University of Florida, where he gigged on the side while maintaining a near perfect grade point average.Easton graduated in May, 2006 with honors and a B.S. in Ag Business and Marketing.

Music has always been a language of emotion, but for Rowan Landsgard, it has

become a powerful soundtrack of survival and triumph. Born in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and

raised in Minneapolis, Rowan has called San Antonio home for the last nine years. A

recent graduate of San Antonio Christian High School, Rowan was just beginning to

explore his passion for the guitar when his life took an unexpected turn.

In July 2023, Rowan was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML). It was a

daunting challenge, but one that Rowan met with unwavering determination.

Throughout his treatment at CHRISTUS Children’s Hospital and his ongoing success

managing the condition through TKI therapy, music became his sanctuary. It was more

than just a hobby—it was his source of joy, helping him push through the hardest days

and emerge stronger.

Now, as he celebrates his three-year milestone of managing his health and preparing to

attend Texas A&M this fall, Rowan is sharing that joy with us. Joined by his sister,

Emerson, and members of her band, Bolton Avenue, they are performing a selection of

Texas country favorites and classic hits to celebrate this victory of the human spirit.
